At DaBella, we believe in building better communities, and this year, we are proud to partner with Move For Hunger for our 2025 DaBella Thanksgiving Food Drive & Fundraiser. Join us in the fight to end hunger and ensure families in our communities have a meal on the table this Thanksgiving.
Move For Hunger is a national non-profit organization that mobilizes the transportation industry to deliver surplus food to communities in need, ensuring good food doesn’t go to waste. Since 2009, they have collected over 63 million pounds of food, providing over 53 million meals.
How You Can Make an Impact
From November 1 to November 30, DaBella will be collecting food and raising funds to support Move For Hunger’s mission. Every donation, big or small, helps reduce food insecurity in our local areas.
1. Donate Non-Perishable Food Items
We are collecting unopened non-perishable food to stock up food banks for the holiday rush. While any non-perishable item is welcome, we especially encourage Thanksgiving-themed donations to help complete a family’s holiday meal:
- Canned Vegetables
- Cranberry Sauce
- Gravy (packets or jars)
- Instant Potatoes
- Pie Filling and Mixes
Please drop off your donations at any participating DaBella office location during the campaign period.
2. Make a Financial Donation
Financial donations allow Move For Hunger to utilize their transportation network to deliver more food and sustain their year-round operations.

About Move For Hunger
Together, we can make a difference and feed families in need this Thanksgiving.
Move For Hunger is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that mobilizes transportation networks to deliver surplus food to communities in need.
With a network of socially responsible relocation companies provides their customers, clients, and residents with the opportunity to donate their food when they move. Members of Move For Hunger also volunteer to host/assist with community food drives, participate in cause marketing campaigns, and create employee giving programs.
Since 2009, they have delivered more than 60 million pounds of food to food banks across the United States and Canada. That’s the equivalent of more than 50 million meals.
