Cancer affects more than a person’s health. It can change how families work, travel, care for each other, and get through daily life.
The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 2.1 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer in 2026. That means support for patients, caregivers, and families is still urgently needed across the country.
In this video, we share how Rocktober connects to that larger mission and why DaBella continues to stand with families facing cancer. It’s a closer look at the purpose behind the campaign and how awareness can turn into real support.

Care that goes beyond the home
DaBella Cares supports nonprofits and community programs in the places where our employees live and work. We believe strong homes are part of strong communities, and caring for those communities is part of the work we do.
Across the country, our teams do more than replace roofs and install windows. They also give back in meaningful ways, from providing free roof installations for veterans to raising more than $500,000 for cancer-related causes.
For Donnie McMillan Jr., it comes down to helping people move forward. That means supporting organizations that give people and families real resources when they need them, so they don’t have to face difficult situations alone.
